A History of Our Friendship

I am sure we all have our own story to tell about how we met, but here is my version...

In 2003, Liz and I (Linda) met via MySpace...oh so long ago...does MySpace still exist?

I had become obsessed with Scrapbooking, but I didn't have any friends that liked to craft, so I set out to find some Crafty friends on MySpace and found Liz.  It was perfect because we didn't live too far from each other.

We tried to get together, but our schedules just didn't work out very often.  We did become great email penpals though!

Between 2003 and 2013, I'd say we probably got together maybe 10 times--a few times to scrapbook and a few times for CTMH parties that Liz hosted.  One time, we even tried to crop at a Scrapbook Expo but we didn't like the experience thanks to our table mates.

Then in 2013, Liz and I had decided to try our luck at an Expo Crop again.  This time we reserved a table and set out to find 2 new cool people to share our table. We put out an "ad" on Instagram inviting a couple of crafty girls to join us.  That is when we met Jossie.

Since 2013, the 3 of us have met up quite a few times.  Some times it is just us three...other times we have a bigger group (I think 6 has been the most).  But it doesn't matter the number of attendants because we always have a blast!

I think this Hangover song sums us up...

"We're the Three Best Friends
That Anyone Could Have
We're the Three Best Friends
That Anyone Could Have
We're the Three Best Friends
That Anyone Could Have
And We'll Never ever ever ever
Leave Each other
We're the Three Best Friends
That Anyone Could Have
We're the Three Best Friends
That Anyone Could Have"

We've decided to set up this blog to share our different meet ups (mostly themed).  Some posts will be shortly after our get together...others will be Throwbacks or Flashbacks (because we have to catch up over the past 3 years).  Either way, hopefully our blog will inspire others to grab their Crafty Friends and just get together to have some fun.

(I'll let you in on a little secret...sometimes we do very little scrapbooking! haha)

Love,
The Craft Pack
(get it...like the Wolf Pack (from the Hangover))
